Four suspects appeared in court yesterday accused of murdering a Scots tiler.
Craig Colquhoun, 37, Joseph McCulloch 48, Raymond Platt, 54, and Robert Park, 67, allegedly killed Tony Ferns, 33, in Thornliebank, East Renfrewshire, on April 18, 2019.
The case is said to be Police Scotland's only unsolved murder since the force replaced the old eight-force model in 2013.
Court papers state that the men on Crebar Street "did strike him on the body with a knife or similar instrument and did murder him."
The four men made no plea at a private hearing at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
Colquhoun and McCulloch were represented by their lawyer Terry Gallanagh while David McCaig represented Park.
Platt and Colquhoun were remanded in custody by Sheriff Stuart Reid.
Park and McCulloch were initially granted bail but remanded pending Crown appeal.
The men will appear at court again next week.
