A man was taken to hospital after he was attacked by a group of youths in Rutherglen.
The 32-year-old was assaulted by three male youths around 4.25pm on Thursday, September 14 on Fairie Street near Aldi.
One of the suspects was wearing a blue jacket, with a white hood and dark bottoms, whilst the other two were wearing all dark clothing, with hoods up. They made off towards Mill Court after the attack.
The victim was assisted by members of the public and then taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Police are investigating and treating the incident as a targeted assault.
They are asking any witnesses to come forward.

Detective Constable James McKee, from Cambuslang CID, said: “This appears to have been a targeted attack which has left the victim requiring hospital treatment.
“There were a number of people in the area around the time of the incident and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed what happened, or saw the group in the aftermath, to please get in touch.
“I would also urge any motorists with dashcam footage of the incident or the suspects making off from the area, to come forward.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 2549 of September 15, 2023.
