UPDATE: The road is now open.
Bus services in one Glasgow area are being diverted due to flooding.
First Bus has announced that the number eight services are using an alternative route as a result of flooding on Rye Road in Barmulloch.
Due to the issue, buses will travel via Scotsburn Road, Ryehill Road, Quarrywood Road.
Glasgow City Council has confirmed that the road is closed to all traffic between Broomfield Roundabout and Scotsburn Road.

The company said on X (formally known as Twitter): "Due to flooding along location Rye Road.
"8 services to observe normal route until Rye Road then diverting left via Scotsburn Rad, Ryehill Road, Quarrywood Road. This diversion is observed in both directions."
