Cops are continuing to investigate an incident where a man was found injured.
Officers were called to Glenacre Road in Cumbernauld on Saturday morning.
A man had been seriously injured.
The area was taped off and the man was rushed to hospital where he is said to be in a stable condition.
An investigation has been launched into what happened.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8am on Saturday, September 16, 2023, police were called to a report of concern for an injured man in the Glenacre Road area of Cumbernauld.
"He was taken to hospital with serious injuries, and his condition is described as stable.
"Enquiries to establish the full circumstances remain ongoing.”
