A shopping centre is hosting a recruitment event.

Anyone looking for work or a change in direction is encouraged to visit Braehead on Wednesday where they can explore a wide selection of roles up for grabs.

There will be a variety of full-time and part-time jobs on offer with both temporary and permanent contracts.

Opportunities include working in the food outlets, the central management team, as well as stores such as JD, Lush and The Entertainer.

Stores are also hiring staff for the busy run-up to Christmas.

People coming along can chat with the representatives from the stores and restaurants, share their CVs and find out more about what jobs are available.

Braehead's centre director, Peter Beagley, said: “Our Recruitment Event is just the job for people looking for work or a change of career.

“Braehead is a major employer in Renfrewshire and there are positions to suit everyone’s own circumstances – be it full or part-time work they are looking for.

“Braehead is known for being full of fashion, food and fun – now you can add jobs to that as well!”

The event will be held in the central atrium from 3pm to 8pm on Wednesday, September 20.
