CCTV images of five males have been released after an assault in Glasgow city centre.

The incident occurred in St Enoch Square and Argyle Street at around 8.50pm on Thursday, January 26, 2023.

Officers investigating the attack believe the males in the footage may be able to help with their enquiries and they are urging them to make contact. 

The first is described as Asian, in his mid to late teens and was wearing a black beanie, a black jacket and trousers, while the second is black, in his mid-to-late teens and was wearing a black balaclava, a black jacket and trousers.

The third is described as white, in his mid-to-late teens with fair hair.

He was wearing a grey jumper with black sleeves and grey jogging bottoms and was carrying a black backpack.

The fourth male is described as Asian, in his mid to late teens with dark curly hair.

He wore a dark hooded top and dark trousers.

The fifth is described as white, in his mid to late teens and wearing a dark jacket with a grey hooded top underneath.

Detective Constable Gemma Cusick said: “We are keen to speak to these males who may have information which could assist with our enquiries. I would encourage them, or anyone who may recognise them, to please contact us.”
