Plans have been submitted to demolish a retail unit in Glasgow and "fill the gap" between two buildings with one-bed flats.
If successful, the single-story building, at 12 Aberfeldy Street will be replaced with a narrow, five-story building, used as flats.
Each level would include a bedroom and an en suite bathroom, less than three metres wide, while a big kitchen area would be located on the ground floor.
This development would fill the gap between the two neighbouring tenement blocks.
According to documents, the existing building was formerly used as a barber’s shop but is currently vacant.
Applicant TX Homes has emphasised that the design of the new building would "will provide an appropriate contrast between the adjoining sandstone tenements".
