A warning has been issued to Glasgow drivers ahead of a series of road closures near the city centre.
Gallowgate, between Moir Street and Barrack Street, will be closed in order for mandatory road surfacing works to be carried out.
A number of other roads will also be affected, requiring closure or partial closure to accommodate the repairs.
At the junction with Gallowgate, the following roads are impacted: Ross Street, Kent Street, East Campbell Street, Gibson Street, McFarlane Street, and Bain Street.
The closures will be in place between 8am and 6pm on Wednesday, September 27.
Road users are advised to approach the area with care and diversions will be signposted accordingly.
Diversions are as follows:
• Westbound : Barrack Street > Hunter Street > Duke Street > High Street
• Eastbound : Moir Street > London Road > Abercromby Street
