A church was given the green light to take over an abandoned Glasgow pub.
As the Glasgow Times reported in July, a bid was submitted to repurpose the former Cairn Bar, near the New Stobhill Hospital in Balornock.
Applicant Pastor Johnson from Hebron Christian Assembly Glasgow submitted the documents to transform it into a place of worship and a community centre.

Now, Glasgow City Council has approved the request.
The building, located at 133 Balornock Road, will include a church on the ground floor, with a cafe, pantry, meeting room and a baptism pool in the basement.
According to the plan, the existing eight parking spaces could also be expanded to 25.
