Celtic-daft Jim Kerr revealed that he used to be 'thrown in a fridge' by his Rangers fan colleagues.
The Simple Minds frontman opened up about his first job after school which involved cleaning out the back store of a butcher's shop.
But despite enjoying the job and earning a decent wage, the Glasgow-born singer admitted that he sometimes took a bit of stick from the boys he worked with as they supported rival teams.
Speaking about the experience with Vernon Kay on BBC Radio 2's Tracks of my Years, Kerr said: "They would throw me in the fridge actually and I will tell you why.
"The other butcher boys were all Rangers fans.
"On a Saturday, the sports chat was 'go over to Celtic Park'.
"Every time Celtic scored I got thrown in the fridge with all the dead carcasses.
"Only for 15 minutes a goal.
"But the beauty of it was that I got £5 a week and then you know albums were £1.20 and concert tickets were 50p.
"I could take you and your friend if I wanted."
