Retail giant Marks and Spencer has taken the first steps to open a brand new Glasgow store.
The company has applied for planning permission to place signage on the ground floor of the new Victoria development in Battlefield, in the Southside.
According to the documents, the food hall would be located at 1 Grange Road, where work is currently underway to build flats on the site of the former Victoria Infirmary.
M&S is bidding to put up illuminated projecting signs on the building.

Glasgow City Council is considering the application and a decision is expected by Friday, October 20.
