Plans to convert a derelict Glasgow building into flats and a gym was rejected.
The bid was lodged in August and would have seen the vacant A- listed property at 48 Carlton Place transformed into two homes and a gym.
The building is near Glasgow Sheriff Court, overlooking the River Clyde.
According to plans, the flats were planned over the first, second and third floor, whole the gym was to be on the ground floor.
This week, however, Glasgow City Council planning bosses rejected the application by Gary O'Brien Property Ltd.

The decision explained that the development "wouldn't represent sensitive enhancements to the category 'A' listed building" and also mentioned "issues of noise and disturbance".
