Eager youngsters gathered in Glasgow to celebrate Scotland's biggest weekend of running.
Around 1,200 runners aged three to 15 took part in the AJ Bell Junior and Mini Great Scottish Run events, marking the exciting 'Super Saturday' and kicking off a weekend of running in the city.
Joined by Tyney the Tortoise, the official mascot for the Great Scottish Run, they took part in a warm up with fitness enthusiast Roy Gayle before taking part in the Toddler Dash, One Mile Mini Run and Junior 2.5km Run.
Many runners were representing clubs like the Shettleston Harriers and East Kilbride Athletic Club.
From the starting line at Geroge Square, runners took off wearing club kits or dressed as superheroes.
Many were raising money for charities like Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity and the Beatson Cancer Charity.
To end the day's festivities, the crowd was treated to a mascot race between Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity's Kami Bear, Bella the Bee from the Beatson Cancer Charity, Wallace from Scottish Autism, and Tyney Tortoise.
