Rangers have slammed fans who appeared to be displaying a flag with a Nazi symbol at Ibrox yesterday.
Images began circulating on social media showing the flag being hung from a railing in the stadium during Saturday's game against Aberdeen.
It appears to depict a Totenkopf, a skull and crossbones that became associated with the Nazi Party during World War II.
The symbol was adorned on the uniforms of the 3rd SS Panzer, an elite division of the SS, which was given the nickname 'Death's Head Division'.
The flag also reads: "Rangers active unit 936 The Firm."
Ibrox bosses have since spoken out and slammed the banner, and revealed that an investigation has been launched.
A spokesperson for Rangers said: "Clearly, this flag is absolutely unacceptable and the club condemns the displaying of it within our stadium in the strongest possible terms.
"The club can confirm an investigation is now underway."
