A man who claimed he would kill people on a city centre street was found with a knife and a hammer.
Alfred Polli, 32, made the remarks in Glasgow on May 5 2023.
Polli initially flagged down police officers when he stated: "I'm going to kill people tonight if you don't stop me.
"I have a knife and a hammer on me."
Polli was subjected to a search and a knife was recovered from his jacket pocket.
A hammer was then found in his trouser waistband.
Polli was arrested and held in custody.
He pleaded guilty on Wednesdayat Glasgow Sheriff Court to charges of having a knife and a hammer in a public place without a reasonable excuse or lawful authority.
Sentence was deferred pending background reports by Sheriff Joan Kerr.
Polli, who appeared from custody, had his remand continued meantime.
