Pictures reveal the incredible transformation of a city centre pub as it prepares to reopen to customers.
The Sir John Moore, a Wetherspoons chain on Argyle Street, previously closed in August for a refurbishment.
Now staff are adding the finishing touches as they get ready to welcome punters through the door again for the first time in two months.
The city pub will reopen on Friday, October 6.
Ahead of the opening, our photographer headed to the venue to capture its fresh new look after a revamp worth £1.4 million.
The company has developed two former shop units to create a larger area for customers to enjoy, the bar area has been upgraded and new toilets have been installed.
In a further boost to the local economy, a total of 50 new jobs have been created in the move.
The pub's manager Ross Henderson said: "The Sir John Moore is an extremely popular pub and this investment highlights Wetherspoon’s commitment to offering our customers the best possible pub.
"Myself and my team are looking forward to welcoming customers back into The Sir John Moore, and we are confident that they will be impressed by the refurbished and larger new-look pub."
It comes after we reported that the Sir John Moore, along with three other Glasgow chains of the pub giant, earned a spot on the Good Beer Guide 2024.
The guide recognises the hospitality spots offering the 'best beer' in the country, while customer service, decor and overall atmosphere are taken into consideration.
The Counting House on St Vincent Place, The Crystal Palace on Jamaica Street, and The Society Room on West George Street were all named as well.
Meanwhile, the Kirky Puffer in nearby Kirkintilloch was also recognised by the judges.
Earlier this year, we reported that The Society Room made the list of the best 20 Wetherspoons pubs in the UK according to Tripadvisor.
