A man was taken to hospital after being assaulted and robbed in Greenock.
Police officers were called to Wellington Street, just after 2pm on Thursday, October 5, following reports of a 22-year-old being robbed and attacked within a property.
The 22-year-old victim was assaulted and robbed within a property on the street around 2.10pm on Thursday, 5 October, 2023.
He was taken to Inverclyde Hospital for treatment and later discharged.
Officers are searching for two men in connection with the incident.
One of them is described as of medium build, with dark shaved hair, wearing a black Celtic t-shirt with the word Magners written on the back, grey jogging bottoms, black trainers, and black gloves.
The second one is described as of slim build, wearing a black puffer jacket which had a small white logo on the left chest area, black jogging bottoms, black/white/grey trainers, and black gloves.

Detective Constable Laura Sokolov of Greenock Police Station said: “Our enquiries into this are ongoing, and we are keen to trace two men.
“The first man is described as of medium build, with dark shaved hair, wearing a black Celtic t-shirt with the word Magners written on the back, grey jogging bottoms, black trainers, and black gloves.
“The second man is described as of slim build, wearing a black puffer jacket which had a small white logo on the left chest area, black jogging bottoms, black/white/grey trainers, and black gloves.
“We are appealing to members of the public who may have seen anyone matching these descriptions around the time of this incident in the area.
“I am also appealing to anyone who may have any other information which could assist us, including dash cam and private CCTV footage in the area, to get in touch.”
