St. Enoch shopping centre has scooped up a major award recently.
The city-centre destination has been awarded a Green Apple Environment Award for its environmental achievements, for the third time running.

Competing against hundreds of other nominees, St. Enoch Centre has been recognised for its ongoing commitment to sustainable practices including the creation of a Green Ambassador team, enhanced waste management processes and comprehensive staff training.
The Glasgow shopping centre also took part in Grounds for Recycling, an innovative industry campaign which sought to tackle food waste in the hospitality and tourism sector during the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships.
The shopping centre will receive a Green Apple trophy at a ceremony held in the Houses of Parliament in November 2023.

Speaking on the recent success, Alasdair Irving, St. Enoch Centre’s operations manager director, said: "St. Enoch Centre is delighted to be recognised for its ongoing efforts with this latest Green Apple Environment Award.
"This award win is a testament to St. Enoch Centre’s commitment to leading the way in environmental practices within shopping centres."
