The measures by the charity are said to help reduce the likelihood of noise fears by dogs and will help them stay settled.

Tips such as gradually changing your dog's walking routine in the lead-up to bonfire night, keeping lights and TVs on and also getting them used to noises are recommended by the trust.

The organisation also suggests that any owners who may be worried about the way their dog is acting to contact their vets to get advice.
