An airline has unveiled some last-minute flights from Glasgow to sunny destinations ahead of the October break.
With the school holidays around the corner and families thinking about how they want to spend their time off, Jet2 is encouraging holidaymakers to make the most of the break and take a chance to travel somewhere warmer.
The firm has an array of last-minute breaks to some of Europe’s most sought-after destinations such as the Canary Islands, Balearic Islands, Spain, Portugal, and Cyprus.
Families can expect the usual advantages of going on an ATOL-protected holiday with flights, accommodation, VIP customer service, return transfers and a 22kg baggage allowance.
Tenerife, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, and Fuerteventura make the ideal choice for a last-minute October getaway to soak up the sun before the winter season.
Each island boasts its own unique attractions, from stunning beaches to awe-inspiring mountain scenery.
Majorca and Menorca are staple family holiday destinations thanks to their idyllic natural beauty and top adventure attractions, while the laid-back resort of Paphos in Cyprus allows the whole family to unwind.
With a zoo, shopping malls, beaches, and UNESCO-listed historical sites, the resort is not short of things to do for all ages.
Finally, Spain and Portugal are classic choices filled with charm and aesthetic beauty, from the picturesque towns to the golden beaches.

It comes after we reported that the airline had launched direct flights to two brand-new resorts in Turkey.
Those travelling from Glasgow will be able to fly directly to Dalaman if going on a brand-new package holiday to Kaş and Kalkan.
Meanwhile, Air Transat revealed that they will be running direct flights from Glasgow to Toronto in the summer of 2024.
Once in Toronto, passengers can then connect to Air Transat’s onward services to Montréal as well as Cancun in Mexico.
