A frantic search is underway for a missing teenage girl.
Nicole Strimbeanu, 14, was last seen around 8pm in the Union Street area of the city centre around 8pm on Friday, October 13.
The force is asking for the help of the public to trace Nicole after she was reported missing.
She is described as around 5ft 3ins, of slim build with long, dark brown hair. She was wearing black jogging bottoms, a black hooded top, black leather jacket, black trainers and a black and white beanie hat.
Inspector Ryan Curran said: “Concerns are growing for Nicole’s welfare, and we want to ensure she is safe and well.
“I am appealing to anyone who might have seen her, or if Nicole herself sees this appeal, to please get in touch.
“I would also ask anyone with dash cam or CCTV from the area where she was last seen to check their systems for any relevant footage that could help with our efforts to trace her.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 3695 of Friday, 13 October, 2023.
