A road in Rutherglen has been locked down following a major crash as people are urged to avoid the scene.
Emergency crews raced to McCallum Avenue around 2pm following reports of the collision.
The road is now closed off between Main Street and Reid Street and a further closure is in place on Main Street between Caledonia Avenue and Hardie Avenue.
At this time it is unknown if anyone was injured or arrested. Police Scotland has been contacted for further information.
First Bus has announced several of its services will be diverting via Farmloan Road and Dalmarnock Road in both directions: 267, 7, and 7A.

Due to accessibility concerns along Rutherglen Main St, 267, 7 and 7A services are diverting via Farmloan Rd and Dalmarnock Rd in both directions.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "McCallum Avenue in Rutherglen is closed between Main Street and Reid Street.
"Main Street is also closed between Caledonia Avenue and Hardie Avenue.
"This is due to a crash that happened around 2pm on Sunday, October 15.
"The public are asked to avoid the area."
