ScotRail has issued a warning to passengers as Storm Babet is set to hit Scotland this week.
The Met Office issued a yellow weather warning on Monday, October 16 as heavy rain and flooding will impact parts of the country.
The alert will be active from 9pm on Wednesday, October 18 until 6am on Saturday, October 21.
Now, ScotRail has confirmed that Storm Babet is 'likely' to cause disruption to services.
Taking to Facebook, Scotrail wrote: "Travelling on Thursday or Friday this week? Check your journey before travelling. Storm Babet is likely to cause disruption to our services.
"Met Office Amber and Yellow warnings are in place for these dates due to forecast extreme rainfall and high winds."
ScotRail has advised that passengers check the Scotrail app before travelling.
