A man has been arrested and charged in connection with a serious sexual assault.
We previously reported that a woman was 'raped' in a Coatbridge hotel at 2am on Sunday, October 15.
Cops believe the 44-year-old met her attacker at a taxi rank on the evening of Saturday, October 14.

Now, the force has confirmed that a 42-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the assault.
The man is due to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court today (Wednesday, October 18).
