BEAUTY firm Lush has announced a new exhibition ahead of the opening of its anticipated flagship store in the city centre.
The handmade cosmetics company is hosting an art exhibition dedicated to showcasing the designers behind its popular reusable gift wraps.
It comes after the Glasgow Times reported the Buchanan Street flagship would be opening this December.
The I Can't Help It, I Like Art exhibition will be open to the public daily from Tuesday, October 31 to Saturday, November 4 between 11am and 5pm at Project Ability's gallery space in Trongate.
The "Knot Wrap" designs on show are curated from a diverse array of artists that work with Lush.
Creatives from Glasgow-based charities Project Ability and Impact Arts, who help people with learning disabilities and mental health issues, are among those featured.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore a curated collection of artworks featuring designs from ARTHOUSE Unlimited and Vivienne Westwood.
Suzie Hackney, creative director and category lead for gifts at Lush, said it was "an organic progression to work with artists to create the Knot Wraps".
She added: "We invite everyone to join us at the gallery, where you can immerse yourself in the world of design and celebrate the brilliant artists behind these remarkable creations.
"We’re hugely grateful to Project Ability for housing this exciting exhibition, and for the incredible work they do to help disadvantaged people experience the beauty of art and design.”
The "I Can’t Help It, I Like Art" exhibition will be open to the public daily from October 31 to November 4 from 11am to 5pm at Project Ability, 103 Trongate, Glasgow, G1 5HD.
