A major retailer is expected to open in Glasgow early next year, it has been revealed.
We previously reported that Next had been given the go-ahead to open in the former Topshop store on Argyle Street.
The brand moved from across the street, where shoe retailer Deichmann has since opened.
In recent weeks, signage and hoarding have gone up at the huge unit next door to HMV indicating the store is 'coming soon'.
Bosses have now confirmed they expect to open in late January 2024.
Meanwhile, an opening date was revealed for a huge flagship Zara store in the city.
The Spanish clothing brand plans to open its new and bigger Glasgow Fort shop on November 2.
It is part of a relocation plan from another unit at the outdoor mall and, like Next, will replace a former Topshop and Topman store.
