UPDATE: Women rushed to hospital after being hit by car
999 crews are on the scene after a rush hour crash near Glasgow.
Three roads have been locked down in Coatbridge and drivers are warned to avoid the area.
Old Monkland Road, Viewfield Road, and Woodside Street are closed as emergency services attend the scene.
The crash was first reported around 8.40am on Tuesday morning.
Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
