Two Glasgow restaurants have teamed up for a special project.
The Gannet and Celentano's are among the hundreds of eateries across the UK that are getting involved in the StreetSmart campaign.
Launching today (November 1), the annual project is now in its 25th year and encourages diners to donate £1 per table to support homeless people.
The 560 restaurants taking part are hoping to smash last year's fundraising total of £786,000.
These funds will provide services including beds, housing, employment training and support with finding work as well as mental health support.
All money raised in Scotland this year will go to The Rock Trust, a Scottish youth homeless charity that focuses on prevention, housing and futures, and Right Here, which provides young people with supported accommodation.
Masterchef judge Monica Galetti, who is involved with the campaign, said: “Anything we can do to alleviate the pain of homelessness, especially at this time, is worthwhile.
"With StreetSmart it is so easy and 100% of the money raised goes directly to people most in need.”
