A second man has been arrested and charged following the death of a Renfrew man.
As the Glasgow Times reported earlier, officers raced to Renfield Street in the town at around 3am on Monday, October 30, after receiving a report of an injured man.
Emergency crews attended, however, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers later named him as 52-year-old Alastair Campbell from Renfrew and said that a murder investigation was launched.

Earlier today, the force confirmed that a 35-year-old man was arrested and released in connection with the incident.
Now, a second, 47-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the death.
