Shocking footage shows a box of fireworks exploding near homes in Glasgow.
The fireworks appeared to have been lit from their box and left on Leven Street in the city's Pollokshields on Sunday night.
In a video shared on Twitter/X, a group of people dressed in black can be seen standing nearby as rockets erupt from the box near the rows of homes on either side of the street.
Jon Molyneux, the Scottish Greens councillor for the Pollokshields area, also shared the clip and has called for a ban on the public sale of fireworks.
He said: "Scenes like this in my ward, as well as what's happened in Niddrie tonight, reinforce why an effective ban on the public sale of fireworks is so badly needed.
"These are industrial fireworks being used to intimidate people."

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers attended a number of reports of fireworks being thrown in the area around Maxwell Square Park, Pollokshields on the evening of Sunday, November 5.
"There were no reports of any injuries and enquiries are ongoing into these incidents."
Elsewhere in the city, a 'slashing' occurred during a large-scale incident in the city's Barmulloch.
Specialist officers were deployed to Quarrywood Avenue after two groups of youths began fighting and throwing fireworks at each other.
Some arrests were made in relation to bonfire night disorder on November 5, but Police Scotland anticipates that they will make more in the coming days.
