A forensic tent has been erected within the grounds of a city cemetery and police appear to have launched an investigation.
Cardonald Cemetery in the city's South-West is at the centre of the investigation with police closing off the area with blue tape.
A van remains parked in the cemetery grounds this afternoon while two police officers stand guard at the tent.

The cemetery is located in the Mosspark Boulevard area of Cardonald.
A source told the Glasgow Times that the police motorbikes arrived in the area at around 12.30pm.
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
