Glasgow City Council has released a statement following the closure of a city cemetery amid a police probe.
The local authority said Cardonald cemetery in the city's South West is now closed to the public after police erected a forensic tent.
Officers remain at the scene while they appear to have launched an investigation.
A van remains parked in the cemetery grounds this afternoon while two police officers stand guard at the tent.

The cemetery is located in the Mosspark Boulevard area of Cardonald.
A source told the Glasgow Times that the police motorbikes arrived in the area at around 12.30pm.
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
A Glasgow City Council spokesperson said: "We are aware the police are attending to an incident in Cardonald Cemetery. The cemetery is currently closed to the public. As this is a police matter, it would be inappropriate to comment further at this time.”
