EMERGENCY crews were called to the scene of a crash on a busy expressway this morning.
The incident, which involved two vehicles, took place on the A725 East Kilbride Expressway at around 7.30am.
Police raced to the scene, where there were no reports of serious injuries.
One of the lanes on the expressway was closed for a short time while recovery was arranged for the vehicles.

A Police Scotland spokesperson: "Around 7.30 am on Tuesday, November 14, police received a report of a two-vehicle crash on the A725, East Kilbride Expressway just before the Blantyre cut off.
"There were no reports of anyone seriously injured and one of the lanes was closed for a short time whilst both vehicles were recovered."
