A person has been hit by a vehicle in Glasgow.
999 crews are dealing with the emergency in the city's Great Western Road near the retail park in Drumchapel.
Police asked motorists to avoid the area and use alternative routes.
Specialist traffic cops are at the scene and appear to have started their investigations into the crash.
There are belongings at the side of the road gathered which include shopping bags and umbrellas.
A car also appears to be at the centre of the investigation.
Police have not revealed details of injuries.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said on X formerly known as Twitter: "Emergencies services are responding to a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in Great Western Road, Glasgow, near to the retail park.
"Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes."
