A city centre restaurant has closed suddenly after less than a year in business.
Der Berliner first opened on Bell Street in the Merchant City in January, serving up gourmet German kebabs.
The prime location that once housed the lush kebab shop has been rebranded and the restaurant is listed as 'permanently closed' on its Google business page.
Now, the owners of Murphy's Irish Bar have taken over the unit, rebranding it as a sports bar, Apostel.
The new outlet promises live sport, live music and German street food and is set to open on December 2.
To celebrate, owners are holding a competition for new customers.
Sharing the news on Facebook, they wrote: "To celebrate our opening on December 2, we’re giving away four tickets to ‘Another Evening With Martin O’Neill’ on Saturday, December 2 at our sister venue, Murphy's Irish Bar.
"You’ll be treated to food and drinks from our new German street food menu, before meeting the man himself, Martin O’Neill."
