The Barras Market has announced the return of a magical Christmas shopping tradition.
The iconic East End institution is bringing back the beloved Midnight Christmas Eve shopping.
On December 24, the Barras will be open from 10am until 12am.
In addition, organisers have added extra festive dates in the lead up to Christmas.
On Thursday, December 21, shoppers can browse stalls into the night with the market open from 5pm to 10pm.
On Friday, December 23, the Barras will be open from 10am to 4pm.
The market will be open as usual on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 4pm.
A spokesperson for the Barras said: "Join us for a magical celebration of festive cheer and last-minute shopping as we keep the spirit of Christmas alive well into the night on Thursday 21 and of course Christmas Eve.
"Experience the enchanting atmosphere of the Barras Xmas Market under the twinkling lights, and indulge in the joy of finding unique gifts and treats for your loved ones."
Shoppers can browse various stalls stocked will a range of goodies from handmade craft and artisanal goods to specialty food and drinks.
To help late-night shoppers get into the Christmas spirit, organisers will have live music performances, carolers and a range of entertainment activities.
