An Audi Q7 was deliberately driven at a man in an attempted murder.
The vehicle hurtled towards a man on Spey Road in Bearsden on Sunday morning.
He was not injured and the car then crashed into a building further along the street.
The driver and a passenger fled the scene.
Cops were called to the scene at around 5am and they have since arrested and charged a 40-year-old man in connection with an alleged disturbance.
He is due to appear in Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Monday.
CID is continuing to investigate the incident and they are urging any witnesses to the attack to come forward.
Similarly, anyone who was in the area who might have dashcam or CCTV footage of the incident should get in touch.
Detective Sergeant Nick Gribben said: “No-one was injured and our enquiries are ongoing to trace those involved.
"I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and saw or heard anything suspicious, to come forward.
"It is important we gather as much information as possible, and any small detail could prove vital.
"I am also keen to speak to anyone with dashcam or private CCTV footage."
