Visitors flocked to a Glasgow shopping centre for their Christmas light switch-on event.
The annual tradition returned to Princes Square in the city centre on Sunday with a host of other festive activities to entertain shoppers.
Pianist Noreen Flynn welcomed the crowd with Christmas songs and the man himself Santa Claus was on hand to switch on the lights at 5pm.
After the centre was illuminated, the award-winning choir Soundsational performed to visitors.
The switch-on is just one of many festive events in Princes Square's calendar.
Daily performances from choirs, meet-and-greets with Santa and his elves and wreath-making classes will also be held at the shopping centre.
Guests can enjoy late-night shopping until 7pm from December 18 so that visitors can nab last-minute Christmas gifts.
