The council has issued a warning following a 999 incident in Rutherglen.
We previously reported that Shawfield Drive had been closed due to a crash between two vehicles, which occurred shortly before 5.20pm.
The area was closed off by emergency crews from Rutherglen Road near Shawfield Stadium to Rutherglen Road.
Now the road has fully reopened but a traffic information bulletin issued by Glasgow City Council warns road users that the traffic signals will remain off because they were damaged in the incident.
A spokesperson said: "Shawfield Drive is now fully opened to all traffic, however the signals at the junction of Shawfield Drive and Rutherglen Road (at Shawfield Stadium) will remain off due to the damage caused from the RTC (road traffic collision).
"The signals will be repaired tomorrow at the earliest possible opportunity.
"Drivers are advised to approach the junction with due care and attention, particularly during peak periods."
Police Scotland confirmed that they had been called to a report of a crash and that one person was being reported in connection with road traffic offences.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 5.45pm on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, we received a report of a two-vehicle crash on Rutherglen Road, Glasgow.
"One person will be reported for road traffic offences. Recovery of the vehicles is underway."
