Multiple Glasgow roads will be shut to allow road marking works.
Glasgow Road, Mount Vernon Avenue and Barrachnie Road will all be shut between 9.30am and 3.30pm every day between today and Friday, November 24.
Temporary traffic lights will be in operation at the junction of Barrachnie Cross during these times.
The full closures will be as follows:

Glasgow Road will be partially closed from Huntingtower Road to Baillieston Road

Mount Vernon Avenue will be fully closed from Hamilton Road to Baillieston Road

Barrachnie Road will be fully closed from Edinburgh Road to Baillieston Road.
The following diversions will be in place:
Westbound (Mount Vernon Avenue): Hamilton Road > Killin Street > Shettleston Road > Baillieston Road
• Eastbound from London Rd: Hamilton Road > Killin Street > Shettleston Road > Baillieston Road
• Eastbound from Hamilton Rd: London Road > Carmyle Av > Killin Street > Shettleston Road > Baillieston Road
• Westbound (Barrachnie Road): Edinburgh Road > Hallhill Road > Mansionhouse Drive – Hallhill Road > South Hallhill Road > Shettleston Road > Baillieston Road
• Eastbound (Barrachnie Road): Edinburgh Road > Main Street > Glasgow Road.
Motorists are advised to be careful in the area.
