A Glasgow city centre street near the Christmas market has been closed due to an accident.
Glasgow City Council's road department said Ingram Street is completely closed to all traffic between Hanover Street and Queen Street due to an earlier accident.
The street is closed near George Square where preparations are under way for the Winterfest Christmas market.
Specialist traffic officers are carrying out investigations on the street which is home to designer restaurants and retailers.
Both marked and unmarked vehicles remain at the scene.
Road users have been told they should avoid the area if possible. Police diversions are in place.
This is a breaking incident, more soon when we have it.
