A new energy-efficient housing development in East Dunbartonshire is now ready for people to move in.
Nine "future-proofed" houses on Old Balmore Road, Balmore, have been completed and are now for sale.
They have a coveted A EPC rating, energy-saving LED lighting, solar photovoltaic eco panels, smart meters, and EV charging points.
Also, they are fitted with underfloor heating designed to allow for heat pumps and other non-fossil fuel technologies.
The homes cost between £745,000 and £795,000.

Gordon McGuire, head of marketing and communications at Corum Property, who is selling the houses, said: “There is a major shortage of family homes in a countryside setting, so we expect this to be incredibly popular.
"Surrounded by rolling hills, Old Balmore Road enjoys uninterrupted views over the surrounding countryside – while also boasting transport links to nearby cities like Stirling and Glasgow.
“With recent suggested legislation and a period of rising energy bills, this development is ahead of the curve. When families are looking for their ‘forever home’, it’s vital that it’s heat pump-ready, future-proofed for growing sustainability requirements and comes with a strong EPC rating.”
