A beloved Glasgow restaurant has applied for permission to serve takeaway food and become a chip shop.
Six by Nico in Finnieston has asked the council for the go-ahead to serve takeaway food.
The eatery's owner Six Company said if successful, the conversion "will allow the current restaurant to change to an upmarket fish and chip restaurant with takeaway".
According to plans, there would be no outdoor seating and 10 members of staff would work in shifts.
Opening hours, according to papers, are likely to remain five days a week, noon to 11pm.
The application is being considered by Glasgow City Council planning bosses and a decision is expected by Tuesday, January 16.

The existing restaurant, which serves six-course tasting menus with different themes, has been at this spot since 2017.
