A pensioner is battling serious injuries in hospital after being hit by a car in Glasgow.
We previously reported that emergency teams including officers and paramedics were called to Ingram Street in the city centre on Wednesday afternoon.
An 82-year-old woman was hit by a dark blue Mercedes E class outside the Emporio Armani store, just metres away from the Winterfest Christmas market at George Square.
The force is now investigating the incident and is urging anyone who was in the area at the time to get in touch if they have dashcam footage of what happened.
Road Policing Sergeant Chris Hoggans said: “Enquiries into the circumstances of this collision are ongoing, and I would ask anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen the crash to please contact us.
"I would also appeal to anyone with dash-cams or home recording equipment to check their footage for anything that could assist us."
Anyone with any information on the incident is urged to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1392 of November 22.
