New homes will be built at a former health centre site in Glasgow.
As we previously reported, New Gorbals Housing Association has applied for permission to build 18 flats and 10 terraced houses can be built, along with parking and landscaping at the site of the former Gorbals Health Centre, which closed in 2019.
Now, Glasgow City Council has approved the bid for the homes, which will be for social rent.
The Pine Street Development will consist of a five-storey apartment block and two-three-storey houses, sitting right next to the Gorbals Rose Garden.
Also included in the plans are 22 car parking spaces and 18 bike storage spaces.
