The famous Barras Market has made a huge announcement this week.
The East End landmark has revealed that it will soon be expanding its market trading spaces due to 'phenomenal demand'.
The news means that there will now be a huge outdoor piece of land within the markets.
The venue has revealed that it is currently leveling out the area to soon add a covered marquee, allowing people to browse and shop in all weather conditions.

The news was announced yesterday on Facebook. Barras Market wrote: "We have BIG NEWS!
"Due to phenomenal demand, we are so excited to announce that we have expanded our market trading spaces!
"Introducing the newest addition to our market experience: a huge outdoor piece of land within Barras Market!
"We are currently in the process of leveling out the area, and soon we will be adding a covered marquee to provide you with a comfortable and enjoyable shopping environment, snow or shine!"
It comes as The Barras also announced some of its market dates and times in the coming weeks, such as late night shopping from 5pm till 10pm on Thursday, December 21.
They will also be bringing back their Christmas Eve midnight shopping tradition.

The Barras Markets is open every Saturday and Sunday between 10am and 4pm.
