A man hurled racist abuse at a nurse in a Glasgow hospital.
William Neil Drummond, 44, was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary on May 14.
At 2am, he was being looked after by nurses in a shared room.
As they examined him, he started shouting “what the f**k are you doing”.
Drummond made his way to the bathroom, where he suddenly started screaming.
A male nurse became concerned and went after him.
Drummond, of Bridgeton, was uninjured but grew angry and started shouting “I want that p**i b*****d charged”.
He also called the worker a “p**i c**t”, a “brown b*****d”, and he said: “Get away from me you black b*****d”.
The nurses requested security and called the police. Drummond was moved to a private room.
Later, police arrived, and he was arrested, cautioned and charged, to which replied: “I did not abuse anyone.”

He appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court earlier this week from custody after he previously pleaded guilty to behaving in a threatening and abusive manner towards the on-duty nurse, while on bail.
Drummond's lawyer said: "He recognises that his behaviour was abusive.
"In his mind, there was some invasion of his privacy. Because there is a record it’s quite concerning.
"He has a terminal illness. He has a prescription. He only has a few months left to live.
"He needs to behave better. It was disgusting and he recognises that.
"He is due to be released tomorrow from his current sentence."
Sheriff Owen Mullan said: "I am considering if I can deal with this matter any other way than custody but I can’t because of the racial aggravation."
Drummond was sent to jail for 145 days.
