A plush Italian restaurant has been demolished after two fire attacks.
We previously reported that Da Luciano in Bothwell was at the centre of two deliberate firebombings in the summer.
Both incidents happened within weeks on July 18 and August 28, 2023, respectively.
Due to the attacks, the restaurant had to be closed until further notice but bosses had previously stated plans to reopen in due course.
Now, the restaurant's remains have been bulldozed.
Demolition workers were spotted at the site of the restaurant earlier this week and the building was knocked down, reports the Scottish Sun.
Images seen by the paper show a large crane surrounded by a pile of rubble.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 12.06am on Monday, August 28 to reports of a building fire on Silverwells Cresent, Bothwell in Glasgow.
“Operations Control immediately mobilised two appliances to the scene and on arrival, firefighters found the first floor of a one-storey detached restaurant block well alight.
“Additional resources were mobilised including two further appliances and crews remain on the scene as they dampen down hot spots to make the area safe.
"No casualties were reported.”
