A serious road incident has sparked traffic chaos and a 999 response.
Mercy crews including police, ambulance and firefighters are on the scene of an incident on Bearsden Road near Anniesland Cross.
Traffic is struggling to pass as part of the road is completely blocked.
UPDATE: A person was trapped in a car during the incident.
A source told the Glasgow Times: "The road is closed from Temple as far as I can see.
"It took me 45 minutes to an hour to go 100 metres.
"There is a van and two cars, three ambulances, police have taped it off."
Cops confirmed that they are attending a crash involving two vehicles which occurred at around 2.40pm.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.40pm on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, police were called to a report of a two-vehicle crash in the Bearsden Road area of Glasgow.
"Emergency services remain at the scene.”
The Scottish Ambulance Service and Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were contacted for comment.
