A DUO threatened a mom and daughter and forced them to hand over their car.
The incident took place just after 9pm on Thursday, December 7, when two men approached a 38-year-old woman and her 10-year-old child.
They were parked in a red Vauxhall Astra outside a premises in King Street, Kilsyth.
The men opened the driver’s door and threatened the woman, demanding she hand over the car to them.
The woman and her daughter were uninjured, but they have been left badly shaken by the incident.
A short time later, the stolen car was seen driving south on Howe Road (B802) at the roundabout at Auchinstarry.
One of the men is described as around 6ft, tall, with a slim build.
He was wearing a grey, long-sleeved top and grey jogging trousers. He spoke with a local accent and had a covering over his face to conceal his identity.

Detective Constable Scott Archer said: “This was a very frightening experience for the woman and her daughter – to be subjected to such an incident is unacceptable and it’s vital we trace the two men responsible.
"I am appealing to anyone who was in the area around the time who may have seen the men or the incident to contact us.
"Similarly, if anyone has recording equipment or a dashcam, please review your footage and bring anything significant to our attention.”
